Once they'd moved inside the house, Royce and Kylie really began feeling settled, even though they still slept on a dirt floor! Royce would rise with the sun and the birdsong and sneak out so he could get to the fishing pond for that good, early-morning fishing time. Kylie would get up a short while later. She spent a lot of time creating recipes with the foods she foraged. Royce was always ready for her tasty treats when he got home from the pond. And as the days went on, and selling the fish at the market brought in more and more money, the front yard was starting to get some attention.   The first few weeks saw Royce and Kylie settle into a routine - of sorts. "Breakfast in bed", as Royce jokingly called it, followed by tidying up camp and Kylie brainstorming to-do's in her ever-present notebook. They took a trip into the small village of Finchwick that first week to purchase fishing rods. Royce couldn't wait to try them out, so after having lunch at the pub, they went to the falls to give it a go. They each managed to catch a trout, which meant supper that night was fresh-caught fish! Kylie reveled in this new, outdoor life.
